I dunno, 50 has had artists on his label/underneath him and he's never lost a lot of money, I doubt he'd overpay someone

Other than Adrien Broner who is Gamboa going to face at 130,135 on regular HBO and get more than $1.2 mill and with it still being profitable.. Garcia just got $560k in a unification fight at 140 that's what makes GoldenBoy a clever company, their known for being the most fair with their fighters although that is overated a bit, not saying their ripping their fighters off but the purses seem a bit on the low side for world title fights. TopRank seem to be paying good giving Timothy Bradley $1.1 million to defend his WBO belt against a washed up casaymor on an undercard fight even when he can't draw a fly and he got $5 million + against Pacquiao while Ortiz only got $2.5 to face Mayweather in a fight that drew alot more PPV buys than Pac v Brad.

Too bad for PBF he signed with GBP for 7 fights after that IRS scandal he had.

Oscar paid his tax debt and in return PBF would fight for GBP for 7 fights.
Do you honestly think GBP wouldnt cover his butt in case PBF decided he wanted to leave him? Oscar owns PBF.

And Oscar has never had a street fight in his life(he openly admits that). And Floyd didn't do to well against him in a real fight. 50 would just grab Oscar and throw him to the ground.

I think this is good news for big Mayweather fights -- Maybe Mayweather v. Pacquaio. Floyd likely has ownership in this group and this is another way to keep more of the money -- the portion that they would otherwise give to Golden Boy. What better way to legitimize it than to throw a tune up Floyd fight in there, knock out the wrinkles that they will definitely have promoting their first fight -- then make a killer payday on Mayweather v. Pacquaio.

With respect to whether there is intelligence behind the tweets -- you may not like his style, but twitter is free advertising. The fact that we are discussing it brings awareness that he did not have before and did not have to pay for. On occasion all publicity is good publicity. The tweets were deliberate and planned to generate awareness -- Similar to many of Floyd's tweets. The bridge was burned as soon as they started business they are competitors with Golden Boy.

Oh and in a fair fight Oscar would tear Curtis Jackson apart. His mother wouldn't recognize him and Oscar would be put in jail for felony assault or man slaughter. A non-elite professional fighter can give 20 or 30 lbs to a street fighter and will still tear them up. An elite boxer . . .

Well if Haymon works with 50 cent, he will probably do very well.

"I think it's terrific for 50 Cent to get involved in boxing, because he brings a different audience, the hip-hop world and so on, to this sport. I think it's terrific. I certainly wish him good luck. We know each other, we respect each other. I like him and he likes me...whenever we're together. I wish him good luck. This is great for boxing," Schaefer told ***********.com.
