we know that the 70s was a duran era while muhammad ali and sugar robinson has his own era. The 80s was much more of a fab 4 era rather than a leonard era.

How about the decade 2000, would it be remembered of of pacquiao era or he has to share the limelight with morales, barrera or marquez in 2000 version of fab 4...

It SHOULD be remembered for the mini fab four.

I can't look past extraordinarily talented fighters like MAB, Morales, and Marquez.

    The fab 4 pacquiao-morales-barrera-marquez
The heavyweight division becoming a joke in boxing
End of an era for great boxers like delahoya-lewis-tyson-holyfield-hopkins etc etc
Welterweight division becoming possibly one of the best era in boxing with fighters like
    mayweather-mosley-cotto-margarito-clottey-williams-judah-berto-quintana-cintron etc

superfeatherweights were talented too with fighters like
    pacquiao-morales-marquez-barrera-guzman-valero-soto-barrios etc

    I think Marquez would disagree.

he can disagree all he wants but pac is still the boss of the fab 4. Pac actually fought the other 3 and beat them all. Unfortunately for marquez he never had a chance to fight morales.

pac vs the rest is crazy
    5 wins 1 loss 1 draw 3 KO

if pac can capture THE welterweight crown, it will be his era only because he did what the other fav 4 did and then some.

Soon as I saw this question, 'era of the Pacman' came immediately to mind.

As good as MAB, Morales, JMM were, they will be afterthoughts 50 years from now.

I think DLH will also be one of the first to come to mind, for his unmatched popularity and for generating incredible interest and money in the sport.

I'd go with the mini-fab 3 Mayweather, Pacquiao, Mosley in that order.

But before 2010.. hopefully we'll see Pacquiao vs Mayweather... Mayweather vs Mosley... Pacquiao vs Mosley.. and maybe even a rematch... then we'll know 4 sure.

I take back the Mosley inclusion. Forgot most of his wins came in the 90s.... I'd go with Mayweather, Pacquiao, Barrera, and Morales.

  12. Most of us will be dead so why does it matter...:huh

FOR THE ONES STILL HERE IT WAS NOT A GOOD ERA:verysad:-(..

That's your opinion. It's debatable as to who is the best of the four. Marquez has never lost to pac in mine, and many others opinion.

Cherry picking era of boxing. Choosing your opponents and fighting the least dangerous. Oh and 50 years from now there wont be a heavy weight division, trust me.

are you insane? there might not be much interest in it butthe fact is that people are getting bigger over the decades so there's a better chance of the lower weights not existing than heavyweights. if anything they'll make a superheavyweight class for over 230 or something
