What if Floyd beats Cotto but loses his perfect record beforehand?

Other than flipping Vargas and Mayorga, this seems spot on to me. I don't think Mayweather will take enough more dangerous fights to pass DLH all-time.

PBF was boxing in the 2000s

but Trinidad was the most beloved of all those fighters so he will be remembered the most fondly.

I think you meant De La Hoya was themost beloved.

I cant agree with 1 and 2, Hoya is 1 he took on every challenge and was robbed twice against Tito and Shane. Floyd has a good resume, but was any fighter outside of Hoya a great fighter and he was past his prime. If Floyd fought a couple of this group as in Tszyu, Mosley, Wright, Hamed, Cotto, and Margo then he could be 1. I would put Tito at 2 but he loses were real bad along with his win against Hoya.

I think De La Hoya might be rated a bit higher honestly if Floyd keeps doing this song and dance there is no way he will ever surpass Oscar, honestly De La hoya unlike Floyd has fought everybody

Floyd, DLH, Trinidad, Mosley, Vargas, Mayorga.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mosley gets knocked further down the list for being on roids/the clear.

Exactly, he might have won some and lost but he always fought the best out there besides Wright. But I dont even want to see that

It's a fair point. This roid thing could really hurt Sugar in terms of his ATG status.

it could also further help Oscars status in the end people already thought Oscar won that fight hell even Roger Mayweather said that Oscar whipped Shanes ass.

DLH-Trinidad was a close fight, although I think DLH won, he also got the benefit of the doubt against Whitaker, Quartey, and Sturm. I also wouldn't call the Mosley rematch a robbery, although I though DLH won narrowly. Mosley was juiced so I wouldn't hold it against him.

The hypothetical is 50 years from now, Mayweather's got more time and relative youth than guys like DLH, Mosley, and Trinidad.
