Pacquiao. He's a rarity in the Philippines not just in boxing but in sports in general.

Most Mexicans love Chavez, but every Pinoy loves Pac.

But the biggest reason Pacs legacy will last longer is cause the Phillipines dont put out as many greats as Mexico. Phillipines has 3 atg Pac,Elorde, Villa
Mexico has -Chavez,Sanchez,Lopez,Olivares,Barrera,Morales,Zarate,Marquez,Saldivar,Canto,Arizmendi,Azteca,Pintor not to mention numerous HOFs and Mexican American greats.

I won't say who, but only one of these greats introduced A-side meff to the general population of their country, enabling them all to potentially become great at sports and singing.

Things might change, and the Philippines might produce better boxers even better than Pacquiao, but as of now, Pacquiao looks to stand alone atop a very high mountain compared to most Filipino boxers.

Phillipines has had some very good fighters, but believe me you will not see another Manny from Phillipines in a very long long time, probably not in your lifetime.

I think a philipino boxer topping him will be a lot harder than anyone topping Sugar Ray Robinson.

I can see a Mexican fighter passing Chavez up some day.

I voted Chavez because most of the filipino people will likely commit suicide when Pac gets schooled by Mayweather.

On a serious note - There have been MANY ATG Mexican fighters to be revered so Chavez leads the pack of a magnificent set of fighters were as Pac... not so much, he has much less legends to be compared with than Chavez.

I voted for Chavez anyway as this is just another pacfucfest thread.
