If him and Hopkins fight again that B-Hop beats him convincingly. Calzaghe can't beat Hopkins and he knows he got lucky with that decision in Vegas. If Calzaghe doesn't take the Dawson fight, hopefully Hopkins does cause when he beats Dawson it'll make a rematch more interesting.

if hopkins fights and beats dawson (i know he can) in my eyes he will be ranked number 2 of the greatest fighters of my generation. i think i wouldn't Bet money on calzaghe to beat hopkins in the rematch because i'd see hopkins as the favourite.

Calzaghe cant beat someone he has already beaten away from home with with 3 American judges and an American ref? You spastic.

B-Hop will didnt have the stamina to beat Joe last time, he wont have it next time either.

I don't know about Hopkins beating Dawson - but he defintely has unfinished business with Calzaghe. I highly doubt Calzaghe takes the rematch. :deal

That's because he knows he'll lose the rematch, like he knows he really loss the first time. That's why it's gonna be hard for Hopkins to get him in the ring again unless he beats Dawson, which he will do if the fight takes place. Hopkins will execute Chad Dawson like he's never seen before.

Hopkins has nobody to blame but himself. He fought like John Ruiz with all of the holding, clinching, and grabbing. It was a disgrace.

If he's like he was vs Pavlik, he'd be awfully tough to beat

I agree. As much as I like BHop, that was a terrible showing. I'd watch a rematch, but I wouldn't bet on Hopkins. Calslappy throws too many punches and has too high of a workrate to be beaten by someone who throws three punches a round like BHop.

    Make it $5000.

Why do you think Hopkins didn't fight Pavlik the way he fought Calzaghe? It was because he knew he would play right into Calzaghe's strenghts and lose a wide UD.

Hopkins fought the only way he had a chance against Calzaghe and that was sitting back waiting for the counter, lunging in with the lead right or head, hug Joe for a few seconds while trying to get some cheap shots in and fake injury.

Calzaghe would be prepared for the cheating and spoiling tactics next time.

Either way it would be a wider UD this time.

What do you mean he can`t you loon,he already did. Hopkins was so terrified of Joe he wouldn`t pursue him after he decked him and hugged him for 12 rounds. That woman judge that scored the fight for Hopkins should be at home washing the dishes and nowhere near a boxing venue.

Hopkins lost to Calzaghe because Calzaghe's style is a nightmare for Hopkins, and because Calzaghe is every bit as clever in the ring as Hopkins. Calzaghe turned on a dime, adjusted after the early rounds, and by the end Hopkins was frustrated and confused. A second fight will be a similar mess of hugs, sloppy exchanges and close rounds. But Calzaghe will win again. If it's fought in the UK, he'll win by UD.

We'll unless your rich, I don't know why you would be willing to lose that much money, cause if you do bet that much, you gonna be a broke MF.

Hopkins spoiled that fight and did himself no favours at all in getting a potential rematch with his antics before, during and after the fight. Nobody wants to see that matchup again it was terrible to watch and only Calzaghe was trying to force the fight.

Calzaghe beat Hopkins and that's all there is to it. Get over it.
