Is that how you feel, though? You do believe that the punchstats are somewhat accurate. That's what you have indicated.

My opinion is an offensive Hopkins loses big time to JC thats why he barely threw punches and tried the ugly route, Hopkins knew he could not win by giving Joe openings to throw. I like Pavlik and believe he is a very solid fighter who is a worthy champion but he is not in Calzaghe's league. If Hopkins could have fought the way he did against Kelly he woould have, and would have lost by a wide margin. Hopkins makes terrible fights.

Calzaghe, close but clear. 1-4 Hop, rest Calzaghe. (10 can go either way, not bothered.)

    Thats how most see it.

The reason thats how most see it is because thats exactly what happened. These two Hopkins ball swingers refuse to believe it though.

Well I guess it's true that everybody sees a different fight. The same as the old saying goes "beauty is in eye of the beholder"

I agree, I'm not a big fan of either but There is no way I would have gave that fight to Hopkins, clinching doesn't count for points maybe nobody told them that.

Well Calzaghe won it really doesn't matter what you think, and I don't see Hopkins getting a rematch after his clinchfest he put on in their fight. that was an ugly fight and I'm sure Joe doesn't want that again.

People see what they want to see. People want Calzaghe to lose. Hopkins has come closest. It's not rocket science.

If you are going to quote me... quote the whole ****ing sentence ****wit.

Please enlighten us all... other than the 1st which is obviously easy to score... which rounds did Hopkins control the tempo and action and which rounds was he the effective aggressor in. I couldnt see any. You?

Like i said, on 2 of the 4 criteria he lost every round bar the first. That doesnt mean he lost every round bar the first before you try and misquote me again, but it does mean that he'd have to win on both the other criteria to even have a chance of getting the nod in any of those rounds... and frankly after the 3rd he rarely did anything let alone enough to win rounds.

18 punches in the entire fight? Sorry but you are ****ing insane. I think I'll leave you to your mad ramblings. If Joe was landing less than 2 punches a round Hopkins would have walked through him. He didnt because he couldnt because he was consitently being hit.

Sorry but i'm one of the most obiective people you can meet and everybody who knows me even tells me that. And Calzaghe loss too many early rounds to get a decision IMO. Lets not forget B-Hop was the champion and the Champion alwasy got the benefit of the doubt. That's the reason why a lot of challengers that get decisions don't keep the title for long because it was givin to them. You got to beat the champion and Joe didn't beat him.

Hopkins doesn't deserve a rematch. The reasons are there for all to see.

I think Joe is going to retire, but i would like to see him fight Dawson before he bows out because while he's not in his prime, he's still very close and i'd favour him in a close pints win.

A win over Dawson will put all the doubts to rest. Even the haters will have to say they were wrong about this guy and give him his props.
