What the hell, lets have another Rocky thread.

15 Rounds, no 3 knockdown rule.

Can Marciano survive the first 14 rounds and stage a late comeback?

    Poll added.

If Marciano can make it passed the first 5 rounds, then he pretty much knocks Tyson out whenever he wants.

Tyson did knock guys out after 5 rounds too you know.

He dropped Douglas in the 9th and stopped Ribalta in the 10th, he dropped Ruddock in one of the 11th or 12th rounds as well, i think.

I hate Tyson , but i must admit this would be extremely tough for the Rock to pull off:-(

88 Tyson was so much bigger, stronger, and quicker i may add, i mean 30 lbs is too much weight to overcome it just isn't there...

I think Tyson stops him on cuts, or facial damage, sometime before the 10th round..

Is it a joke ¿ lmao tyson would **** him against the ropes like a ***** in 1round , just a puncher in history would overpower a prime tyson trading blows,, and his name is big george foreman, tyson would have a chance IF he decided to outbox foreman, but it is not probable, mike was. Too aggressive

There is no way, NO WAY, 88 Tyson, or any Tyson, loses to a guy under 190 pounds. Come on!

In head to heads you look at what each does better than the other.
I can't see anything in Rocky's favour other than his proven stamina over a long haul.
Tyson tended to decelerate as a fight went on,but he was fighting at such a full on tempo early on that this is understandable, imo.
My head says Tyson inflicts enough damage to gain a tko stoppage around the 8th rd. A stage in the fight where Tyson's slowing down would not have kicked in.
I think Tyson is quicker of hand and foot, hits just as hard, maybe even harder, has a better defence ,takes a better punch, and has a considerable size advantage.

The advantages he would enjoy would seem to be insurmountable to me. I await the hate mail.

Tyson stops him anywhere from the 3rd to the 5th to much early damage for rocky to come back from

Note folks overwhelmingly pick Tyson. Though it is not fair to assume folks must be racist if they pick ROcky-many favor the old timers or are sentimental.

The same kind of bias that has you committing the smaller sin of rounding down sizes. Archie Moore fought Rocky at 160, really? That one is not even in the ballpark.

But considering speed, size, accuracy...I cannot see Rocky winning.

Do you really think it would last longer than 5 rounds?

    Spinks
    Holmes
    Ruddock
    Tubbs
    Thomas

Had all never been knocked out, until Tyson got hold of them

    Can Marciano avoid torpedos?

Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face
