    Ranked Boxrec's #10 p4p :happy:happy, Mijares just wailed on the third consecutive challenger to his WBC title. He's got a pretty good track record of activity, averaging four fights a year. We can expect him to fight at least once more before this one's through. So who do we want that opponent to be??

    Another 115 contender? Or invite one of the elite Bantams or Flys (down or up, accordingly) to rumble? :think

    citing them doesn't mean legitimizing their points-based system as perfect. it's just a cool level acknowledgement for someone who just a year ago was virtually unknown to most.

    He's a very talented, tough young fighter. I think he beats anyone from 112 to 115 including Wonjongkam, Donaire, Montiel, Gorres, Nashiro, Castillo, and Darchinyan.

    I got my ticket! I love seeing great fighters come out of nowhere (relatively speaking) and shake things up. Mijares is a force to be reckoned with, I'm glad he's getting a chance to show it.
