You couldn't help but hold your breath, no matter how resilient you knew Rocky was, H. Walcott could CRACK, 'specially early.

I felt this way when Foreman lowered the boom on Moorer in 1994....... When Moorer hit the deck in round 10, I kissed the floor and praised Allah.......

Hello John hope you are well, just wondering - having been ringside an all - what sort of a feel did you get for the punching power of both from ringside?? To give people who might not necerssarily have a true appreciation for these guys maybe - who would you compare their punching power to of the other fighters you've been ringside for?? Would you rate Jersey Joe as a big big puncher - I personally just from watching him on film think he was a great puncher

Joe's shots were 'SPECIALLY affective, RS. His herky-jerky side-to-side movement, had fighters moving into his quick, sneak shots. He didn't have Rocky's thudding power, but he definitely could crack 'n get someone outta there, 'specially since they didn't see 'em coming.

Rocky's punches -- left, right, grazing or solid -- to the head or to the body (whether he was buzzed or not) shook a man like a concussion grenade.
