Good call! He might ask for 8-10 million.

How about JMM, how much should he ask for?

Dont know if Pac would accept. I seriously hope he does. We need to have a 3rd fight. With the 1st and 2nd fights deciding nothing clear, the 3rd fight's bound to be the best of the trilogy, if it happens..

I'm suprised. JMM and his camp just blew their entire load on the first offer. I have a feeling that Pac will still price himself out and the fight won't happen, unless JMM accepts whatever ridiculous counter offer that's going to come back.

He can't dictate or ask anymore. That's the sad truth.

hmm... what diaz are we talking about here? if its david, pac already has a tentative date of June 28 to fight him for the WBC lightweight championship. even diaz was quoted as saying that pac already gave jmm 2 fights and he should now be given a chance to fight pac. diaz said jokingly, that pac should share the wealth and not be too greedy...

jmm should probably get a belt or maybe even the lineal championship @135 so that a rematch with pac will be more of a certainty to happen. but if he demands to get the same or even more money than pacquiao as before, then he will be making the same mistake again.

Not saying he's scared, but he's definitely wreary of a third fight. The money will have to be a ridiculous amount.

Since JMM has no bargaining power at all right now (no titles anymore) and they've tipped their hand already, it's going to take more than just 6 million. I'm not so sure if JMM will be as willing to take the low-ball % that's likely going to be offered back.

Best solution is for JMM to fight Nate Campbell. If he wins they'll meet again at 135. :yep :hey

Yep, JMM is in deep **** right now... even if he fights guzman he won't get as much as fighting Pac.

That's the only way I see a third fight happening, Marquez will have to chase him up there.

I personally would like to see them fight again, but don't really care if they do or don't either.

For every whinge from a JMM fan that he won two fights, there's a legit position with Manny fans to claim the same. A) The first fight was incorrectly scored and B) Like it or not - It says SD12 on Boxrec as many have posted today re: the second fight.

No he made 3mill for this fight...

While Pacquiao was his usual conciliatory self after earning his $3 million payday, Marquez still was in the mood to fight.
“The judges don’t know what they’re looking at,” said Marquez, who made more than $1 million. “I was doing everything possible to win the fight. They took a victory that I won clearly.”

    $6.000.000???

That's probably the biggest purse EVER south of the LW division... $6MIL is a hell lot of money... that's crazy money because PacMan would also get a share from the gate revenue and PPV sales...

He should take it... damn, I think he's in for $1MIL at most for the Diaz fight...

the figure includes the fight purse, share of the gate receipts, share of the ppv buys and phil. cable tv rights. all in all, pac will probably take in 6M+ from this fight.
