well got a fight in about six weeks ( less now actually)...im currently at 90 Kgs with just a little fat around the stomach and in 70% good fighting shape..still recovering from a very traumatic xmass debauchery period....so i would like to fight at 85 kgs ( Thai boxing) personaly i think its possible but hard however i dont want to burn out and get to the fight all mentaly ****ed up and tired...bearing in mind that i work 9 to5 everyday so training hard + resting effectivly with a low carb diet feels like im heading for a breakdown... I might just say ****it and fight at this weight or 88 kg..but my coach said 85...any advice will be appriciated!
    PEACE!

Plenty of time, especially considering you are heavy now from Christmas. Step up the cardio, a morning run would likely serve best...and tailor the diet a bit (no need for anything severe, just don't eat crap, avoid sodium process loaded foods etc). See where you are in 3 weeks.

    That's 2 lbs a week - it's doable.

What is your diet like? Give me specifics what you eat every day and when, and what time you workout.

Should be no problem. I've lost a lot more than that when i boxed.

each lb of fat is 3500 calories- each kg is 7700

So that means you have to lose 1100 a day

Each mile you run is 100cal roughly. So its either continue eating what you eat (2500cal a day) and run 11 miles a day

or chop down on food and run. hard.

1kg a week is a LOT to lose- you will be able to lose it, but it wont be fat most likley.

If you know how to eat right that should'nt be a problem at all.
