Pac should agree to all of the tests (even though he already has agreed to random urine testing and 3 blood tests which seems to be sufficient enough) if Mayweather agrees to take a lesser split, problem solved.

No offense Beenie, but that's a stupid solution. Top Rank already agreed to the testing. Why should Mayweather give up 10% just so Pacquiao can renig on a term that his promoter already agreed to? Not only that, but if Pac claims he won't do the test because it will mentally affect him, how will money solve that problem? This proposal would just expose him as a blatant liar and would only make him seem more shady.

In the business of boxing (and sadly just about anything else) monetary compensation tends to solve just about every problem. The way I see it is if Mayweather wants to isolate Pac and force him to be subjected to irregular testing, Pac should demand to be compensated for the inconvience.

Again, Pac's promoter already agreed to the testing. Mayweather's promoter already agredd to 8 oz. gloves. What if Floyd turned around and said that he wanted to be compensated for the inconvenience of having to wear 8 oz. gloves? I don't think your proposal would fly. Most Americans are all for more strict testing. This guy asking to be paid in order to comply with stricter testing after his promoter already agreed to it would make him look like an ass.

    50/50

I still feel they will work out the details, I dont believe they will through out the fight for 20-30 million a piece.

I think they can negotiate a blood test x number of days before the fight and after.

I actually feel the same way however if Mayweather continues to be insistent that Pac be blood tested the days leading up to the fight then Pac should just agree to the inconvience and counter back with a higher split demand. Pac already has agreed to a 50-50 split under the circumstances that he'd be blood tested after the fight has been concluded, blood tested 30 days prior to the fight, and urine tested randomly throughout training camp; all of which seem more than sufficient to determine if he's using PED's.

You know what's stupid? Anyone suggesting that either fighter wants to get out of a $30+ mill payday. Then again, common sense doesn't seem to be too prevelant on this forum.

That's patently false. Top Rank agreed to olympic style testing to be administered by the USADA. Despite what people think, it's the USADA which picks the testing dates, not Mayweather. The USADA's testing system calls for random testing up to 24 hrs. before the fight. The USADA will not administer the test without these testing guidlines. Furthermore, Arum claims that Pacquiao can't have blood drawn within 30 days of the fight because he will feel weakened.

That's interesting because to fight in Nevada you need to have your liscense renewed yearly. In order to have your liscense renewed, you need to be blood tested for AIDS and hepititis. Pacquiao just recently renewed his liscense and was blood tested between April 5th and April 20th of this year. As we all know, Pacquiao fought Hatton on May 2nd of this year. This means that he was blood tested within a month of a fight just a few months ago. Now did anyone hear any complaints back then? Did it look like he was mentally affected in that fight?

Thanks man. I don't mind Team Pac not wanting to comply with Mayweather's request. However, they keep coming out with a million different nonsensical, contradicting excuses for not wanting to comply. How can we trust that they are telling the truth when they can't get their story straight. In the last day or so, I've heard from Roach and Arum that Pac didn't want to be test within 48 hrs. of the fight, then it was within 5 days, then 7 days, then 30 days, then it was he would only be blood tested before the press conference and after the fight. Which one is it?

pac should ditch floyd and fight mosley. pac doesn't need floyd, he's legacy is already secured. floyd needs pac more than pac need floyd. and this fight more probably won't be that exciting anyways. floyd would just potshot pac while pac trying to make it a afight.

Unlike you, Pacquiao and Top Rank don't live in make believe land. As long as Pac wants to run for office, he wouldn't even be available to fight Mosley. Not only that the dropoff in revenue betweeen a fight with Mayweather and a fight with Mosley is huge. Top Rank and Pacquiao aren't going to throw away tens of millions to fight a possibly tougher opponent. Neither of these guys really have a good alternative to eachother, which is why this fight will be made.
