60/50 split for Floyd might make the fight happen. Interesting article.

Dude don't brag that you know your math. Review the split and it should come out as 54.55/45.45 sharing. It's not 60/40 as what you think.

I'm done with classes since December 2001 at the Univ. of Miami when I got my degree. Arum is a billionaire or close to it. He's paid Ricky Hatton an extra few million dollars out of his own pocket to make the Pac-Hatton fight. Pac gets his cut, only Arum and maybe HBO loses a few million/sofa change, so Floyd gets what he wants.

I'll be sure to be on time for class the next time I go. It's not good for professors to show up late when the students are waiting and eager to learn. :hey

I say we will leave this purse split sharing thing to the promoters and HBO for it's them who knows the whole financial picture of this fight and the previous fights of both boxers.

As fans, we should not really go deep about money matters. Yes we can voice out our opinions but it's half cooked since we don't have the full grasp of the whole financial matters.

We have some idea about the PPV buys. We knew that Floyd edged out PAC slightly in that category but we don't know the net earnings of their individual fights. We have no information about promotional expenses and other related expense.

It's up to the promoters/HBO to settle this purse sharing issue. Be it 50-50, 51-49 or 60-50. Making this fight a reality is what matters most.

Golden boy should put up the 10%

They are gonna make 11 trillion dollars off this fight anyway.

Uhm that is not 60/40 % split.

More like 54.54 and 45.4 respectively.

    I already told him that it results to 54.55 / 45.45 and not 60 / 40.

Arum paid Pacquiao extra in the Pac/Hatton fight. So, if Mayweather wants a bonus here, the money should come from......Mayweather Promotions.

Come on bro, Floyd would never agree to that. I doubt Golden Boy would agree either. It's clear Bob Arum has to do it. Floyd hates Bob Arum. So getting a few more million from him is extra incentive for Floyd to sign the dotted line.

You keep trying to make it sound like I am being biased but everything I said is true. Pac and Arum took the offer of a 14 day cut off and 50/50 and said F U FMJ.

Hahaha, the kool-aid that Pac and Arum ended negotiations? Now are you saying that isn't what happened? :huh:blood

Maybe you need to need to drink the kool aid. My favorite flavors are:

    Fact-berry
    Reality-aid
    History-punch

Floyd is acting like he doesn't want any part of Pac.
