I think it's spelled "Yvon" for a male.

 

Moore was a 4-1 favorite and shouldn't have had such problems with Durelle. in the first place.

Durelle was underrated. He was a tough mofo and could have given plenty of guys problems.

Edit: just looked at his record and its worse than I remember. Oh well, getting old I guess.

First fight I ever watched... my uncle sent me a tape of the fight as I was expressing an interest in boxing at a young age.

I remember being in awe watching someone comeback from a sure defeat. I have been hooked from that very moment.

 

Your uncle set the bar of expectation for you pretty high with that fight!

 

Just rewatched it because of this thread. Yep, just as good as I remembered.

Should be in any respectable list of the great world title fights in boxing history. I think it should be an automatic choice in any top 50 and would probably make my own top 20 without any difficulty.
