I don't know if it's been done to death already, but nevertheless, who win...the Dick Tiger of 1965..who whipped Rubin Carter and Joey Giardello vs the SRL of the Hagler fight. A 15 rounder of course.

Tiger. Too big. Too strong. Toog good. At least for that version of Leonard. His shoe-shining won´t win him this one.

I agree. Tiger, in '65 was way too strong...too purposeful for Leonard. Dick would have ground out a clear decision over Ray.

Dick Tiger too big and strong for Ray. Leonard fights to survive.

Ray Leonard was way to smart to ever make this bout ... lovre Ray but past his own prime, out of his weight against a prime Tiger ... Ray fights for his life to go distance ..

Tiger wasn´t more stronger than Hagler in my view....
Hagler had underrated power, and Ray fought a great fight against him, and I can see the same thing happening, but Tiger wasn´t so good defensively as Hagler…….
Ray by UD in my opinion

Subjecting '87 Leonard to fantasy match-ups against great Middleweights is kinda cruel.

As a middleweight, leonard had one golden moment. With a past it Hagler. Tiger would maul Ray in this one.

Leonard easy, Tiger's feet are way too slow in this 1. Oh but, Yes beating Hagler maybe the best MW ever is a piece of **** but going in against Dick Tiger he'll be way out of his depth :dead

You obviously haven't heard, Hagler was reduced to toxic waste by '87. He was a shot item. All Ray had to do was show up and throw some flurries that didn't even land and he was awarded the decision, not because he won legitimately, but because he was loved by everyone. He was the poster boy, effectively.

    You're comparing him to a semi-shot Hagler ,,, we're talking about a prime Tiger ...

Tiger was probably THE strongest middleweight..not as great as Hagler, but yes he was stronger. He was strong enough to go up to lightheavy and be an immovable object for Jose Torres..a legit 175 pounder. It took a stick of dynamite from Bob foster to shut the old Tiger down. Of all his opponents however, it's Emile Griffith that truly approached him in terms of strength..kinda scary about Griffith, but it's truly a feather in his cap in that he dealt rather well with Tiger.

This fight would not have happened. Ray survives the 15 rds and is able to steal some rds but takes a good old fashioned ass whoopin'.
