Yeah Sherman Williams beat him earlier this year.

Not good for our old mate Messer_stick. He was as big a fan as you could get of the old chunky Welliver

    He has. Sad to hear.

Was hoping for his sake that the Wiiliams fight, was just a REALLY bad night.

Seems a good guy, that had a good business model going and a solid chin. Sadly for him, but luckily for boxing, it seems that where he now stands in the world of boxing is now a little clearer.

Wish him all the best for whatever direction he takes next.

It may take a bit of time, but the pretenders get found out eventually.

Why dont u look at getting MArk a fight with Fujimoto, if you want world wide exposure it dont getr much bigger than Japan.... They can be pretty fanatatical..

It would be interesting to know what the crowd was for Welliver vs Fujimoto.

A couple more losses and Demori might fight him.

Business models consisting of continually fighting opposition ranked well below you are a big part of what's killing boxing. Karma usually catches up with these guys though. The first time they step out of their comfort zone they usually get humiliated.

I have nothing to do officially with who Mark fights.

IMO, yes a Japanese crowd would be great, no, a fight with Fuji would do nothing for him.

He aint gonna get any popularity here, If he fights and beats someone as well know as fujimoto in Japan, The japanese will take note, Its better than fighting at Rooty Hill

Chauncy was asking opinions on his facebook page this morning about whether or not he should have a fight in his hometown, I politey suggested that if you have had over 50 fights and are losing to 4 fight novices it may be time to think about giving it away... His fans arent reacting too well, :)

With Wellivers last loss, didnt Messer skip work and go to sleep on a park bench, only to be mistaken for a bum?

Can't wait to hear what messer did in mourning this time:nut
