Yes, he doesn't but he doesn't throw as many powerful shots either. Flick jab and move or flick cross and move. It's all about tactics really. And Tyson Fury's got tremendous amount of muscles, just look at his legs and compare it to his competition. Like Ali, or Mike Tyson... Case closed. Tyson Fury's greatest strength is his mental ability, he paces himself exactly fore what his body can follow. And he doesn't stress at all when bullets are flying in close.
For me and most people: Powerful jab: more energy Flick jab from the hip: less energy Upper body movement with high guard: more energy Upper body movement with low guard: less energy Straight punches: more energy Body hooks in close: less energy Punching: more energy Moving: less energy See the pattern?
...and Whyte is 27, so there is a commensurate equity in how tired both were after setting a high pace as Vitali and Lennox did. Not like Joshua gassed after going a few hard rounds with Harrison.
I wasn't comparing him to Whyte , they both gassed too soon. AJ I think is maybe too muscular , Whyte was just in bad shape. ( awesome use of commensurate equity btw , I got a bit hard )
Joshua didn't actually gas, he punched himself out. He threw around 160 punches in the first two rounds, loading up on all of them (almost half of what fury threw in 12 rounds against wlad). Once he slowed his pace down he regained some energy and knocked whyte clean out.
I'm not down on AJ I thought he did really well but I just wish he was fitter and much more flexible. If he fought Haye with that little movement Haye would knock him out cold.
