He has a comically short reach. Your average man has a reach about equal to his height (African Americans 5% longer) He is 6-7 with a 6-1 reach.
Funny, that's how I see Mungia. And they're the same age. I think Fundora even at this age beats Ali and is 50/50 with Liam Smith.
Oh, believe me, I'm not a Munguia fan at all. Low hands, high chin, wide shots, lunges in, no head movement etc...etc...etc... But, he would walk right through Fundora right now. Fundora is still very weak and very hittable. And the one thing Munguia can do is crack a little. He's not quite ready for Munguia yet. But he does have some skills. He just has to catch up with his height and coordination. He'll probably make some waves in a couple years though.
Remember how everybody calls Wilder so skinny and frail. Well he's actually not that skinny, just skinny for a HW. But Wilder and Fundora are the same height and the skinny Wilder has over 70 pounds of muscle on him. Wilder doesn't have an ounce of fat on his body. He's got over 70 pounds of straight up muscle on this dude. LMAO. Does anybody realize how much muscle 70 pounds is???
Yeah, it's freaky, but Michael Cooper was about 6-7 170 in his prime and he was always a tough physical guy (basketball). Might just be his natural build.
No boxer has that body. I predict he gets demolished. With those tiny arms can he even protect that huge strike zone of a body he's got?
Coop was NOT 6'7, that's Pipps height (6'7-6'8) who is shorter than Bird. Look how short Coop is next Bird. Coop's listed at 6'5 but I think he's even shorter, kinda like Barkley listing himself at 6'6 yet we all know he's really 6'4 lol. That said, you can get away with being skinny in the NBA if you have the skills, which then coaches will forgive you for not being a post player or body snatcher. Hell look at Rodman, short as **** for a Forward, yet he did more with his diminutive 6'8 220lb frame than just about everyone else who ever played. That said this kid is way too skinny. I'm guessing he didn't have the skills to make it to the collegiate ball. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/v7K-oa2bDFY/maxresdefault.jpg
Since we have kinda spilled over into the NBA, I wanna share this story from Johnny Bach talking about Jordan vs Pippen.
I've actually interviewed Cooper when I used to work for the media. I'm 6'3 1/2 he's a about 2 inches taller than me.
