7-0 Artur Szpilka fighting Owen Beck!!!

    This announcement certainly came out of nowhere. The opponent was largely expected to be an unknown bum since Szpilka only has 7 fights on his record and is also scheduled to fight a mere 3 weeks later in November. Pretty ambitious. I know Owen has seen better days, but this is still a huge jump in class considering Szpilka´s past opponents. On the one hand, Artur has booldozed his competition on the other hand, this might be moving a bit too fast. How do you guys see this fight? Here are Szpila´s last two, which have put him on everyone´s hype radar. If he wins over Beck, he´ll at least start to have some credentials to back up the hype.

    Owen needs to hang em up.

    But ofcourse you polish glass factory workers will praise him for beating a man who's been knocked out in 5 consecutive bouts and has not beaten anyone with a winning record since 2006 (whom was a CW to begin with).

    Show me just one example of a recent Brit HW prospect taking on someone decent this early in his career. Szpilka will bring fear to the world glass capital that is Brittardia. He´d be ready to eat a chump like Fury alive today.

    Chisora in his 5th fight against Sam Sexton > punch drunk Beck.

    Chisora in his 12th fight against Danny Williams > punch drunk Beck.


    Owen Beck is nothing but a kayo victim, has not done anything since 2006 but get knocked out by prospects.

    Even Fury beating Scott Belshaw > beating todays Owen Beck.

    But then again, this guy is smoking some serious polish glass dick, so...

    That certainly was high praise. I think this fight is a move in the right direction. Beck has had a string of losses but that still doesn´t change the fact that he´s a strong opponent for a guy who´s just 7-0, with no significant amateur background.

    Just looking at him, credit to him for fighting pro without amateur experience, BUT:

    - chicken wing jab
    - elbows sticking out
    - predictable

    Tyson Fury would eat this man alive, and I don't even particularly like Fury.

    3 levels Hahah....Fury was getting tagged all night by a fat lazy Chisora, who still remains his best win. Fury and Szpilka are at different stages in their careers, buts its so easy to see Fury being KTFO by this kid.

    No. I´m not hyping anyone. Go back to my original post. See what I said about Szpilka. I called him being on people´s hype radar but that Beck would finally give him some kind of credential, considering he´s taking him on so early. You´re the one who came in with your disgusting Sky propaganda.
