does not matter how he got it off so quickly, the big question how will it effect him. .

I don't care with anyone says losing that much weight in that short amount of time will hurt you, in this sport at this level.

Mayweather knows he wants to stay right around the weight limit because Canelo is bout to be hella big. Mayweather very smart

He weighed 166, thing is he is younger his body can adapt better, and if you drink plenty of water during camp its easier to cut weight when that time comes

Alvarez is used to cutting 20lbs,no big deal.
He will be his same self, out of gas by sixth round, wondering why he took the fight.

It doesn't hurt him as much as not cutting so much weight and fighting at 160 would.

I'd advise him not to come in over 150. He can bulk up all he wants and he'll still be the naturally smaller guy. Why would he want to slow himself down with extra pounds?

Completely agree but at 23 i don't think it'l have much effect... as silly as it sounds all this dropping so much weight may effect him later in his career. It catches up with you
