Doesn't matter if hes 23 or older since everyone body is different and everyone body will respond differently when putting on weight and losing weight. This is not about just in boxing but all sports in general. Of course a younger body can withstand the wear and tear compare to an older body so I expect Canelo to do what he has to do to weigh in at 152 come fight night. Will it effect him? Who knows ! We can only judge him by the Trout fight and it seems like losing that amount of weight and gaining back did had an effect on him during the middle and later rounds. It's going to be interesting to see how it effects him chasing a moving target for 12 rounds.

He has literally only dropped 9.4lbs in 3 weeks. Considering he is a professional athlete that isn't too hard to believe. :patsch

9.4lbs in 3 weeks? I don't think that will affect him. It isn't that much considering how hard he trains.
