This is no joke, It happens every Pac fights. Wanna hear something superstitious. After 13 days of pac fight, theres always a calamity or wide accident happens in Philippines. And it always happens. No BS.
I unfortunately know this since I have had several english friends absolutely lose it from losses to Argentina and Portugal x2. I now know not to hang out with them during such times since they get extremely emotional and tend to throw things around.
Yeah , I know what you mean we do get emotional. I was in germany for the 2006 world cup with a few mates and we just come out of the bar with a st Georges flags draped across of our shoulders, two minutes later some lads had put the pubs windows through which wasn't on.atsch
Wow. That sucks. I was with my wife's family and I was afraid of a Hatton win because we would have had multiple heart attacks there. Just a shame. Its only a sport you know.
You know when a great fight is going to start, sometimes my heart will beat really really fast right after the introductions and before the bell to start the fight. I do not like it at all. What could happen is that spectators could get their heart rate up so high in excitement, and then when it goes back down to normal after the fight it can cause an arrythmia which can cause a heart attack.
I think something like 14 people died during the Gene Tunney - Jack Dempsey rematch.. and about 11 of those died during the infamous 'long count.'
There are nearly 1500 deaths per day in the Phillipines -- just over one a minute. Two rounds with a minute in between is seven minutes. Include the build-up and the aftermath and you'd expect way more than seven deaths just by pure coincidence. Throw in an emotional sporting event and that'll add a bit more stress. There is absolutely nothing weird about this. You'd expect at least seven deaths purely by chance.
