Out of sheer boredom, I attempted to count the exact number of punches Jones threw in that GIF, and I actually counted 108, albeit it's obviously hard to count because that GIF isn't the clearest thing in the world in framerate.

 

Pac - 7 shots in 1 second all of them right at the mark.

Jones - 108 in 64 seconds with 5 of them hitting the mark.

 

His plan was to throw as much and hope the ref will stop the fight.
