Yeah, he's a good poster. I disagree too, obviously, but at least he's willing to make his points.

I think because of what went on in the past, people are now just ready to put the blame on Haye at any chance they get. If you look at what went wrong this time, fairly, you can't blame Haye at all but because of the things in the past, people still do. I think it's wrong though, but it is what it is.

Yeah, I don't expect many to post either. I think they, like Widdow Maker and the other morons, are happier just going from thread to thread saying "Haye is a coward " rather than entering any discussion. Any discussion on this, is going to favour Haye, so they won't do it.

Big thumbs up to Jack and Domain for actually talking sensibly about this, even though they disagree (and I in this case disagree with Jack).

i actually consider myself neutral in this whole situation coz im not a fan of either fighter. i totally blamed haye in the past, just like i am blaming wlad now. i think the problem is that obviously the klit fans will furiously back their man, and a lot of posters are still pissed off at haye's antics in the past and like you said, all they say is ''haye is a *****'' and leave :lol:

I think what you are finding though is that a lot of neutral posters are taking haye's side on this one.

It would have been something like 9 weeks promotion which would suffice. I can imagine the excuses if Haye was offered September. The fact that Wladmir is able to lock in his next fight in September with relative ease shows the difficulties he has endured with Haye for well over 18 months.

I hear non-boxing fans talking about this fight and querying when it's going to happen. It is hugely popular even with 0 promotion. Even that dickhead who acts as Harry Potter has voiced his opinion.

That is unfortunately the way that it has panned out. I wonder what that situation would be if Wladimir wasn't injured and had got past Chisora last month. That is, I'm wondering what difficulties Haye would create in that scenario.

It was a contract that he signed though and then broke. Drawing a loss of trust and showing that he isn't a man of his word.

Vitali would be wary of the high levels of fear David Haye has for him. I actually hope that Vitali contacts Haye about arranging a bout and obviously if this happens then it will have to happen very soon. - I guess that I would be slightly disappointed in Vitali if he doesn't pursue this fight now.
However, if he doesn't even have a word with Haye it is because of the mistrust of Haye that has formed over the last couple of years. Vitali only will fight for a couple more years and he wants to stay active and avoid weasels.

HBO promised they'd show Wlad's next fight (povetkin mess), and then HBO management changed and they went back on that promise. When that happened Wlad said he wouldn't deal with HBO again.

I could see them mending fences for a mega fight....but Vitali has been on Showtime, so that seemed more likely. Especially since Boente stated "We hadn't gotten into details about U.S. TV, but that would have been HBO or Showtime, and I would prefer Showtime."

It's a lot easier to estimate the money earned from TV rights than it is the actual location. I mean, 60k seats in Germany, or the UK, ticket prices could easily be about the same, then you have sponsorships, etc... who is to say really? Only those with hundreds of pages of financial info know the answers to this stuff.

Haye could have been willing to bend..that IS a possibility, although i see it as a very slim one, considering the way Booth announced "we finally gave in to their demand of 50/50". That was a very odd statement to me.

Hmmm...well I can see the case for Chagaev too. I just think the situation where Wlad was, that point in his career, he really needed to get the win against Peter.

Wlad/Haye has been extremely tough negotiations, so I can see how those on the Haye side would say "K2 is too hard to deal with".

However, it looks like Wlad has a deal to fight Adamek, with Wlad making the trip to Poland. Peter also agreed very quickly to fight Wlad, and many others....so there are two sides here. Some fighters seem to have such a hard time, and others seem to have super smooth negotiations. And then you have the weird situation with Povetkin, who had something like a $2.3 million dollar payday and just walked away from it (twice).
