An inspirational fight to say the very least.

Mayweather said Hatton should have retired after their bout in 2007. I think he was right, looking back in hindsight.

Hatton was just never ever the same afterwards. I think Floyd cracked his chin quite severely.

He said he could no longer take hard punches.

Most special fight in my heart.

I wish more were like this one.

A battle outside and inside of the highest order.

Two warriors duking it out in the phone booth. Loved every moment of that fight. :deal

KTFO 2> TKO 10. Fact. Floyd couldn't even do that to the shot to **** Hatton who lost to Senchenko 2 years ago, nevermind in 2009.

Shut up! Hatton was prime when Floyd beat him, and past prime when Pac beat him!

It was one off night, he rebounded extremely well against Castillo, still, the Collazo fight was a clear victory and everyone who knows boxing saw it as such.

He dominated Castillo from start to finish and knocked him out with a body shot in the 4th.

He went up against Floyd in his prime, very very very ready but just couldn't overcome that obstacle.

In my opinion, I don't think anyone could have beaten that version of Floyd. Too technically gifted, too physically strong inside

    Two different fighters man.

The fighter who fought Floyd was prime.... filled with confidence....chin was not cracked..

The opposite was true when he fought Pac.

You can B.S all you want but that fact will never change. Floyd's win over Hatton is considered the better achievement. Sorry.... to say...

Hatton was a former WW champion and he went into the fight filled with confidence, coming off a big win in Castillo and got knocked out by Floyd.

He was never the same after.

    So sad...:|

I think Floyd was right, he should have retired.

everybody becomes prime when floyd fights them, maidana losses are pretty much irelevant now because they were 'old maidana' who isnt as classy as this new imporved garcia version who would knock out all those guys who have beaten him. Yes hes has looked better but he'd need to prove it against a decent fighter surely he would have beaten the level of opponents he has with garcia anyways, the real improvements will be seen in his next figth against a proper top 10 guy

It was the severe body injury. You can keep twisting the facts. Wont change anything man. Everyone knows it was bcuz Floyd has taken considerable dmg in the 11 yrs since becoming a pro. If he did not take time off he wold probably not have lasted as long as he has.

Imo it was one of the best decisions for longevity

hattons best weight was 140 (he was the linenal champ their) even the commentators and boxing experts said he was to small for 147

hatton was coming of 2 big wins against one againt paulie who he dominated

pac just made he pay easy because unlike mayweather pac can crack

hatton was coming face first to mayweather all night and the coward could not even hurt him hatton had to get tired for anything to hurt him
