Beats Ortiz, Povetkin will be a tough fight in the early rounds.

Called it in an earlier thread... Winnable fights because both guys were born in the 70s, but dangerous enough to entail some risk of a surprise KO.

Papachenko's guys don't **** around man, they'd be bored and unfulfilled beating up cans for checks like most champions do these days.

Rumours are that it's going to be Povetkin in Moscow, but who knows.

He will loose to Povetkin but Ortiz could be a better option.

Usyk got balls, Usyk got that.... blah blah blah, THIS IS NORMAL, he just doesn't have any other options, it's like early GGG after Universum when everyone was running from him. Unfortunately "too big too strong" Froch didn't have balls and Ward was too busy with courts.

I like Usyk. An Ortiz or Povetkin fight would be nice. Usyk is doing what a big boy boxer is supposed to do........fight and test yourself!

Thats true, by no means it will be easy. Usyk would have to be on his toe. I just think Povetkin is slightly past it and it’s easier for Usyik to touch. And Usyk is much slicker than AJ.

Beats Ortiz easily, he is just a younger and much better version of him (hopefully this will finally kill off the ridiculous "Otiz the boogeyman" narrative).
vs Povetkin would be tougher but fully expect Uysk to get through him (more than likely UD) via superior speed, use of range and combinations, although if Povetkin has much left then his own punching combinations can cause any HW problems.

Great fights if they come off. I expect Usyk vs Povetkin is the easier fight to make and the more marketable. Usyk easily outpoints him for my money.

Yeah, I hope he doesn't go through with that pointless fight. Lebedev's awesome but he wouldn't have a prayer of winning here.

Yeah, I think that one is more marketable and more likely to come off. I'd rather see the Ortiz fight though.

Well, Krassyuk is his promoter (Egis Klimas is Usyk's manager) but he did say that, yes.

    According to Krassyuk:
    "...
There are some problems already in finding opponents (in the HW division) for Usyk. Parker and Miller have already declined such possibility. Takam will be fighting Chisora, and Whyte, most probably, Joshua.
So that leaves us only with Povetkin and Ortiz as top HW opponents. I would say it’s 70% probability that one of them will be fighting Usyk in his HW debut.
If we are unable to negotiate with them, Usyk will defend his cruiserweight title vs. Lebedev in March. I’m meeting Eddie Hearn at the end of this week, and will be able to give you more details after that.
    ..."

I like that Usyk doesn't muck around. In his second heavyweight fight, he's wanting Ortiz, who is formerly known as the man everyone is ducking and Povetkin who is a very good name for a second fight. Clearly Usyk does not want to be talked about as a ducker.

Wow go on Uysk. Wasnt sure hed be willing just jump in at such a high level. Sorry i say such a high level i just meant with prime 2nd most dangerous fighter on the planet Luis Ortiz. Obviously Povetkin is a shot old untalented bum who was never any good and never achieved anything.

Did i get that right Wilder fans? Thats how you rate Ortiz and Povetkin isnt it?
