I think its possible that if the more mature Foreman paces himself and makes best utilization of his cross armed defense, he may weather the early storm and lure young George into deep water later. Throwing staiter punches and finding holes in the more porous 70's George, he might find some nice targets. But those first 4 or 5 rounds would be brutal, as 70's Foreman had early round tenacity and loads of power.. Old Foreman couldn't afford to make any mistakes.

I agree with this post to a certain extent. Old Foreman was a much smarter fighter that didn't waste his energy. Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if this scenario actually happened.
Old Foreman would beat his younger self simply because he would know that fighter so well he would be able to anticipate young Foremans next move.
