Foreman via KO. After the fight, noneck insists Wlad came down with a life-threatening case of pneumonia the day prior and shouldn't have been anywhere near the ring.
I don't like Foreman's chances against a bigger, quicker, taller and longer opponent who knew to pace himself and keep well away. I also don't like Wlads jaw being in the same ring as Foreman's gloves. Or against a physically strong opponent he couldn't tie up easily and that could punish him for even attempting it, seeing as George was from an era where the ref would let you fight it out in the clinch. My prediction: Early-mid Ko Foreman. But there's a fair chance Wlad survives and takes it into the later rounds for a TKO or decision win.
Foreman has at least 50lb on Klitschko and is an amazing technical fighter. Wlad won't know what to do against a bigger opponent that runs at him like the Mummy and who throws these big clubbing punches that whoosh through the air like jumbo jets. Wlad's technical approach based on footwork, a jab and a crushing right hand will have no place against a giant guy like Foreman who is taller and can benchpress cattle. Also Foreman has an invulnerable chin and was never off his feet, not even against giant punchers. I heard from this one guy I met once somewhere that Foreman used to demolish buildings by headbutting them. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Against certain smaller, greater men, Klitschko could prove a real problem (Frazier, Holyfield). But Foreman is an awful lot of power to effectively contain, knowing you have to be perfect because your whiskers are vulnerable to lesser punchers. I dont pick Lewis to pull it off so I don’t pick Klitschko, either.
70's FORTEman weighed 300lb and was 6,8'. You need to pay attention! In addition, as people the world over know, he was a stamina machine. What is Wlad going to do when he inevitably gasses against Foreman at about round 5?
Maybe the the 70's Forteman outweighed Wlad, but it was 70s Foreman that was mentioned in the OP and he would be 20 - 40 lbs lighter than Wlad. That said, I would pick 217 lb George from Jamaica over 2005, 244lb Wlad.
Of course you would because the boxing world has never seen so much power and speed and dazzling footwork as we saw in 70's Foreman. He always managed to plod into the right place to close off the ring on well known movers like Frazier and Lyle. You'd make a ton of money, frankly. Foreman would simply push Wlad back to keep him at long range where he was best. Looping punches have more range (and speed to target) on them than straight punches. Then Foreman would pummel him to pudding with his sloth-like swipes. Sucks being a little guy against Foreman.
