No problem buddy, I get your drift, and of course the punches would have had cumulative effect on Foreman, later rather than sooner.
    keep well matey, chat soon.

There’s been a recent spate of online emoji suicides by way of hanging - internet police are currently investigating the disturbing and increasing trend.

They’re a bit harsh, aren’t they? - do we have any more sanitised versions of self expiring emojis? - like, say, by way of pro choice chemical injection whilst surrounded by emoji family and friends?

The tabs don't quite line up, but here is a kinder, gentler version for Our Current Year.

You aren't catching what I'm saying. Foreman is one of those guys with a pretty limited number of good wins. Vitali actually went 13-0 in title fights after Lewis despite having a long layoff and fighting past forty. Foreman's first win over Frazier is better than anything Vitali did, but I can easily see Vitali getting better results than Foreman in the 70s whereas I can't see 70s, 80s, or 90s Foream going that kind of title run without screwing it up.

I might’ve already stated same here, advance apologies if that is the case BUT In the total scheme of things, I don’t think that young 70s Foreman was overrated.

If there is a belief that Foreman might not be remembered as well if not for his second career, perhaps look to the mere presence of Ali during Foreman’s first incarnation and conversely Old George being the almost stand alone rep (along with Larry) of the 70s era.

In terms of attention and celebration of other fighters, Ali was like a Black Hole, drawing in and swallowing up all around him. Ali made people forget all too easily what a killer Foreman truly was. And Ali also plagued Foreman post Zaire.

If we look back at Norton also, how much better rated would he be if he was rightfully (IMHO) awarded the decision and the title in the Ali rubber match? The Ali aura also swallowed Kenny up who went on to be negatively framed as a mere paper Champ.

Larry too. The shadow of Ali cast itself upon Holmes also, lending to a clear underrating of Holmes for a good many years.

Point being, if Foreman’s laurels rested only on his first career and IF it ended up being a later case of George Who? (which I don’t think would be the case for the true pundits) there would be the aura of and adoration for Ali inextricably entwined in the equation.

Don’t read me wrong, I’m a huge fan of Ali - but the proof in the pudding is you type in anything related to any given 70s fighters, even 60s fighters, who happened to also engage Ali - you will always get info primarily on Ali and said fighters relationship to him, first and foremost, before digging a little bit harder and further to find info on the said fighter in his OWN right.

Nice, fast turn around work! Brill!! Particularly given limited emoji resources.

The “mourners” could even sub as strangely decorated balloons from which our dear departed emoji hung himself - the latter now floating through the skies, bereft of life.

I note also that you’ve considerately covered the gamut of emotions for attendees. Certainly some mixed reactions there - including a cheeky wink!

You're not addressing anything because you now realize you have your foot in your mouth and your bias has been exposed. You kept creating straw man arguments to attack instead of simply reading what I wrote and responding. You did this to yourself.

Nobody should ever take you seriously in a Foreman thread again. I certainly won't.

Indeed, the cheerful balloon hanging was what I was going for.

(Hm...sounds a bit morbid when I come out and say it...)
