i have to jump in and question the consensus in this and other threads about past heavyweights being bigger or added by modern techniques/diets

can ONE modern heavyweight do solid 15 rounds of fighting? Larry holmes was no adonis but he went 15 of the best heavyweight rounds ever with Ken Norton without the add of modern techniques and nutrition

bigger is not better and newer is not more fit

I guarantee no heavy of today can do 15 rounds....

Wait- I take that back. They would be clinching and throwing one punch at a time for a total of 20 punches thrown per round and basically wasting time, making it into a high (very) paid sparring match...

It's like being on a two lane road behind two cars going the same slow speed, holding you up...
    It's a race to see who's slower and less-considerate...

Today's heavies are the same: a competition to see who's less committed and disciplined.

The Klits just happen to be boycotting the competition.

Next time I'm in Vegas I will stop in Tocco's and tell all the heavyweights how much they suck. They really need to know this.

I agree that none could make it 15 rounds outside of possibly Wlad, Adamek and Chambers.
