Unless big punching Bruno gets in first. If he could rock Tyson he could definitely hurt Shavers. But I believe its a ko from Shavers here ,Franks gotta get him early other wise its a painful ending for him.

Bruno would have quite a good chance vs Shavers. I'd hate to be betting on that one.

Dokes gave Holy problems, I think he might give Norton problems, I say a draw, they cancel out each other's best assets.

Williams did well against Holmes, but that was a stylistic matchup of jab vs jab, so I'll go Quarry.

Spinks Jinx. Only Tyson made him look bad.

Does Shavers tire or Bruno cave in? two flawed dudes here! Under 5 rounds its Shavers. Past five, Bruno

This is the way I see it too. The only one I would amend is the Quarry-Williams fight to a solid stoppage win for Quarry.

Any heavyweight from the 70s era is indestructible. Wepner crushes AJ and Wilder in the same night

    You
You believe that Spinks would KO Lyle in 6? I don't see it, Spinks power would have had to transfer equivalently to heavyweight from light heavyweight

Ken Norton v Michael Dokes ?

Dokes has one chance, to come out banging like he did against Weaver in their first fight. He had actually filled out and started sitting down on his punches. After being considered feather fisted at one point he gained quite reasonable power. He was the fastest heavyweight at one point - for three rounds. Could he overwhelm Norton and force him into panic mode? I don't think he'd get Kenny out of there so Norton UD.

Carl Williams V Jerry Quarry ?

The tale of two possibilities. Does Williams keep Quarry at range enough to box his way to a decision? I don't think he does. Quarry by late stoppage or decision.

Ron Lyle V Michael Spinks ?

I think Spinks and his herky jerky style and skill would come thru to the tune of a decision win. He would have to fight the spoiling careful fight he did vs Holmes.

Jimmy Young V Buster Douglas ?

The Douglas jab and size would be pivotal here. Assuming he is in shape i would favor him to decision Jimmy over 10 or 12 but Jimmy might sneak home over 15 given Douglas' penchant for tiring.

Earnie Shavers V Frank Bruno ?

Pick'em. Can Bruno get thru a rough moment or two early?

Dokes may edge Kenny, but based on experience, I would say Norton edges Dokes on an MD, controversial.
Carl would dominate Jerry early, but based on that chin, Jerry would start clocking him around 4 o 5, and take him out with a perfectly timed hook in the 8th.
Ron would have Michael out of there by round 5. Too strong, and too powerfull
Young would edge Douglas in 15 rounds. It would be close, but ,again, Jimmy's experience would kick in.
Earnie would kayo Frank in the 9th, in a come from behind victory.
