74 year old George Foreman looking like he can challenge Tyson Fury

There should be term limits on boxers like politicians.

 

I doubt they would let him. The problem is he starts to get hit in a fight how can they let the fight continue

Unfortunately that isn’t George - but it would be apt for him to come back, knock the fat out of Fury and then produce a new line of grills.

Call it what you want. You don't think Hearns or McCallum or others would still fight if they could. They would not let him take as much punishment as he did at say 34.

 

Funny you mention that because I understand Fury's camp have sent him some offers.

 

No, there was a thread not too long back that identified some overall physical differences between the guy on the bag and Foreman - and a key point was that Foreman’s face is only shown after the bag punching is finished. It also appeared to be a deliberate replication of Foreman’s bag punching in Zaire - including the guys cap falling off - ala Saddler.

 

it looks like George. Hitting a bag does not take too much even for a guy his age, and anyway his forte was always punching, so even a guy 74 if he can still stand and swing will do ok... but I dont think they will let him fight.

 

Let the old guys fight and get hurt you are saying? There has to be rules. When fighters get older there is less fluid in the brains to create that protection. We want a respectable sport.

 

The camera goes off him before someone starts hitting the bag. Then at the end the camera goes off whoever is hitting the bag and back on to Forman. Someone posted this some weeks back.
