It was close… Freshmart was really inactive on lots of rounds

Regardless of who gets the nod, my boy Ginjiro now has a very clear path back into being a world champ.

Alex did outbox him - whenever he wasn't getting belted silly. :sisi1

Not a bad showing for a debut at world stage.

I’m hoping Taduran gets by Zhu in November and if/when he does, a unification against Niyomtrong would be amazing.

He fought against the best guy at 105. Came up short, but gave it his all. No shame.

Besides you have the likes of Opetaia and Paro. Also tons of great up and coming fighters. :chuck:

I guess I’m just cynical rn lol.

Maybe Tszyu could get a belt again and Paro could be promising.

Well I'll be damned, I didn't think Old Man Decision CP Freshmart had it in him. Didn't think the judges had it in them to give him the nod in Oz either. Hopefully he doesn't disappear into the Thai jungles for another couple years and uses this momentum to land a fight with another champion. He probably won't though. Solid win for him though.

    You right you right.

I guess it just stings a bit more since he’s from my home state lol.

Majority of us thought Winwood would rise to the occasion and defeat Knockout. However, he proved us wrong. Good job by Freshmart.

Now that the pandemic and Rosa situation is over. I hope Freshmart does get the chance to face the other champions in the division. I know he has a mandatory against Dusmatov. That would be a cracker.

Also another interesting tidbit. With eight years into his championship reign, should Knockout be a champion by May of 2025, he will beat Ricardo Lopez' record for the longest reigning champion in the division.
