Keep in mind it wasn't Knockout's fault for his inactivity. Restrictions for Covid were very strict in Thailand, and it hard for most Thai fighters to stay active like before. Besides the Rosa situation chipped out most of 2023. But yeah, I hope Freshmart does finally fight the upper echelon of the division.

Winwood started well and was courageous and persistent throughout but he got dropped twice and the 114-114 card was hard to comprehend.

He nicked some rounds (despite boxing very negatively on his bike) where Niyomtrong simply wasn't doing much in pursuit.

8 years as a champion, 10 if We count interim titles... Man, the opposition has not always been great, but that's impressive. Gotta give the man his due, true champion and surely among the greatest Minimumweight fighters of all time.

Id prefer Taduran vs Collazo. Havent seen Zhu but he seems to have some decent scalps in his last few fights.

I hope Niyomtrong will have a unification fight and if he win he will always be compared to Ricardo Lopez.

But something in my mind say that we will never say that the facts are here he was too much inactive, he have 34 years old who is very old in this division and his next challenger is two olympic gold medallist Hasanboy Dusmatov...

    That's for strawweight division, right?
If He takes his title back to Thailand now, He can probably threaten even the Joe Louis record. I think it still stands, for any division?

Yes for Minimumweight division and currently the most longest reign as a champion but he will not break the Joe Louis record I think..

Tbf he's always had deceptively heavy hands despite the low KO ratio and rather unfortunate nickname.
