Guy is 32 - 1 only loss is against a top prospect some said was better than golovkin, first man to stop peter quillan. He's a better fighter than most of GGG's resume.

It's the betters who will ultimately dictate the odds. If he had a rabid UK fanbase, they'd be much more narrow since more money would be coming in on him.

As it stands, the bookies probably opened this up wider than usual to get some action on Jacobs.

If you feel those odds are too wide I suggest going for Jacobs bro, to be honest I give Jacobs a 20% chance with that chin he will literally have to either throw caution to wind and go for the Ko which will probably lead to his stoppage or run which will lead a wide points loss or stoppage again.

Jacobs doesn't even have a punchers chance in this fight mora knocked him down and had him on ***** st. His chin is glass. He's a good story but he's not good by any means.

I think it is a bit wide. Jacobs is better than that.

The guy has a mandible made of paper. Do you not know its Golovkin's specialty to tear paper chins apart?

You realize the odds on any sporting event aren't who they necessarily think will win but are done to encourage betting on both sides of the coin. It is to maximize profit and reduce risk. So, it isn't disrespectful to Jacobs at all.

Jacobs is the best US middle in recent years. Much better than Quillin. One of GGGs best opponents certainly. But unless GGG has an awful night - and DJ has an awesome night, he should beat him - perhaps stop him.

I mean, I think 8-1 isn't enough. Jacobs getting starched.

Since the start of the negotiations up till the point of him finally signing the fight, and now the bookies odds, everything has been viewed as 'disrespectful' to Jacobs.
The WBA not wanting to change their precentage rules in his favor, K2 not offering millions upon millions to get Golovkin's mandatory to please sign, the people saying he holds a paper belt, not letting him have a second 'tune-up' and now the odds being wide in GGG's favor.

Please stop with that stupid 'respek' idea, and let him prove it in the ring.
He's up against the best middleweight in the world, and some of the people who kept taking Jacobs' side every step of the road now trow him under the bus after signing. If you actually fight Golovkin you must be a bum right... because he only fights bums. So for them 8 to 1 surely shouldn't be too wide.
I believe the odds are on the mark in this one.

Quillan was infact damaged goods from his bout with Andy Lee. Lee earned a decision but the ref cost Andy the W by calling a false knock down, when clearly his foot was stepped on. Athough BJS clearly defeated Lee.

Jacobs is probably the #3 Middleweight in the World just behind an in shape Billy Joe Saunders actually.
