The amount of american sport fanboys is ridiculous.

I would like to see any NFL player, ANY, play 80 minutes of rugby(league or union), without pads, without helmets, without oxygen, without timeouts for commercial breaks etc.

Dont get me wrong, I love NFL, but ****, half of the NFL would snap in half if they mode the same hits without the pads on.

As for Hayne... You are talking about someone playing NFL for the very first time in his life and making it on the field in the regular season. Albeit in a ****ty 49ers team. That would be like Tom Brady making it to the 6th round Vs Klitcshko.

NFL and NBA guys are atomic supermen. The game could be twenty four hours long and your guys would still get stomped into the ground. Face it man, there are levels to athleticism. Richie McCaw is no match for what Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Ray Lewis, LaDainian Tomlinson bring. Have you really never seen Michael Jordan sail through the air like a Greek god?

You got it all wrong man. It's you foreigners with your inferiority complexes that's ridiculous. You can't admit the obvious when you are clearly outclassed and resort to silly bluster to maintain whatever shreds of pride you have left, whatever shreds we let you have.

Nfl athletes burnout at such a rate that people from the streets are needed by the end of the year to fill rosters out.

It's not exactly like they've got thousands of the finest athletes on the planet. There's some great ones, and a bunch of JAG- just another guy- types to fill the roster out. If they were all that great, it wouldn't be so easy to replace 95% of them.

There are a lot of guys that made over 8 figures.

As for those missing on that list, I'd throw in the German trio - Arthur Abraham, Felix Sturm and Robert Stieglitz.

NBA and especially NFL are not global sports. In fact, NFL is a joke.

I remember seeing some NFL game and there was some fat player that I wouldn't even call an athlete.

There is a reason football (soccer) is the biggest and most popular sport in world.

Look I hate soccer, but based on its talent pool it clearly has the best athletes on the planet.

Not to mention wlad could have played in the NBA and povetkin would be in the NFL easily if they trained since kids.

What a silly thing to say, do you even watch those sports or just the highlights?
There are a ton of stiffs, fatsos and losers in BOTH leagues.

Sorry, not watching rugby either. There are probably no more than like 3 countries taking those sports seriously, so who cares.

Good point on the Germans. Lets get to sports though as far as athleticism. Give me how many soccer or rugby players have ever medaled in an Olympics in another sport. There are several NFL players who have. Ronaldo and Messi are the fastest soccer players but would be middle of the pack in the NFL and would get dusted by most linebackers that are bigger than the Klitschkos. Goodwin long jumps 27 feet and plays in the NFL and was a track medalist. World record in standing long jump is in the NFL. Wiggins has a 45 inch vertical. Give me one soccer player that matches that? Along with benching 100kgs multiple times. You really think David Beckham would do well at a NFL combine?
