    ***THIS IS NOT A MAYWEATHER HATE THREAD***

    I saw the May/Cotto face where Floyd was talking about his bet.

    Am I the only one thinking that it's stupid to bet $100k to only get back $80k, or am I missing something cuz I'm not a bettting man.

    You get 80k PLUS your money back.

    So if you bet 100K, you get the 100K back.. PLUS 80K.


    So if the odd's of somebody winning is 2 - 1,

    And you be £1, then you get the £2 for winning, PLUS your £1 back.

    Of course, if you lose, then you lose everything :D
