Personally I'm not really a fan of Wilder. I belive he is a fabrication who was expertly managed and kept away from all risks for years until the stiverne fight came up. It was then several more years until he actually stepped up and took on Ortiz. Joshua has done twice as much in half the time. .....But Hearn has had his pants pulled down over this whole situation. I mean really Wilders team has made him look a fool in the public eye. And thr thing is if Joshua had decent punch resistence I'd back him 100% v Wilder but he just doesn't so fair chamce he gets chinned if the fight happens.
Jesus, that vid was on 5,000 views when I watched it yest, now it's at over 52k..... The bit where he compares AJ/Matchroom to the film "Get Out" had me LOL'ing out loud... "They done got him brainwashed" If you watch this and still believe Wilder is ducking AJ you're either a fool, a liar or both.
Hearn and AJ don't want the Wilder work. We know Hearn and AJ have invested millions into the fabrication of the AJ "brand, they have the casuals on board, they have the papers on board and they know that Wilder can derail the brand.
Hearn and the decision makers behind AJ don’t want this fight at all. It doesn’t matter what Offers are made to them, they will deliberately find a way to delay the negotiations and end up fighting Povetkin instead. There is clearly fear going on from Hearn and Co, concerning Wilder and his bladdering power. I watched most of the video and it confirmed Wilder is being genuine and wants the fight- but Hearn and Co and deliberately sabotaging and delaying the negotiations
"everything is a made up thing with him, from ticket sales and stuff, with them scalping tickets to make it look like they sell out in 5 mins" even wilder gets it
Lol haters gotta hate. Let's say for arguments sake the tickets are bought by touts and not really sold out it still doesn't change the fact that the demand is there considering the arenas are full. If the demand wasn't there the touts would left with thousands of tickets which the doubters claim are not really sold. If anything this ridiculous arguments only goes to show more popularity as people are willing to pay over the odds to attend. When you are not selling out arenas it's easy to look at those who are and claim its not really true. Let's look at last night for example. An event attended by friends and family with barely any tickets sold. A week earlier at the same venue nearly all the tickets were sold out for Whyte v Parker. Now are we supposed to believe that the huge disparity in ticket sales with these events is because touts buy all the tickets for matchroom events but they don't for Warren events. C'mon that's just fantasy talk.
if Wilder stopped going on about his special gifts of insight he would come across a lot better. Its a bit hypocritical some of it, its not like he has been fighting all time greats himself but I too agree he is a very dangerous fight for Joshua, its not surprising at all if they are avoiding Wilder.
I’m a fan of Joshua but I do think Hearn has manouvered this exactly how he wants it. He wanted it next year, he’s got it. From a business point of view I don’t blame him, from a fans point of view it’s a bit ****... However, even if Deontay is in the right there is not a chance on gods green earth I could listen to him for 80 minutes. Think of how many brain cells that would kill.
Tbh if I was in Team Joshua or Hearn I would be doing all I can to stall the fight also - I can’t lie about that. It’s seems quite clear to me that Its Povetkin that they would rather go for - I think they are just delaying the announcement for as long as possible, hoping that people lose abit off interest in waiting /something else big happens in the sport so they can control the backlash abit more.
This will go on for years, like Pac FMJ. Not sure if I have the will power to go through this back and forth, PR stunt, political posturing nonsense for much longer.
