80's ,90's and 00's

    how good would the last three decades of boxing be viewed if there had only been one champ per division . and the best had fought each other instead of making defences against lower level opposition

    and how would this affect how we compare them to the fighters of the past .


    are there any fighters that spring to mind who would of been great champs or champs that would just fallen short of being a champ .

    The 00's Heavyweight division would still suck balls when Lennox retired.

    Off the cuff, I think especially the 90's would look different. There's quite a lot of fights that didn't get made there in the MW, SMW, LHW and HW divisions.

    I think there should be 1 World title belt for each division. 1 title belt for each continent. And 1 Tag team title belt for each division

    1 Tag team belt :lol: ,mind you it may of been the only way some would of got a belt

    True, i think that maybe certain fighters would excel in tag team competition, where they didnt in singles competition, and vice versa.

    We could then begin to add the much anticipated no DQ matches, triple threats and even the occasional lumberjack match!!!....elusubin's battle royals!!!
