    Nope. He called him a midget.


    He said "...I'm fighting a midget..." then Hagler took the stand and said "...well you a freak. Thats right. You a freak..."

    Correct, But Actually I was thinking of Davey Moore. Jr. Middleweight Champion. I believe he beat Tadishi Mihara for the title & lost it to Roberto Duran in Madison Square Garden.

    I thought it was a Brit, quote sounds very familiar but not sure who said it. Was it Tommy Farr?

    No, it was an active fighter (well just retired when he said it, hence the quote) from the 80's....
