80's vs 90's heavyweights. Who was the best?

    i would go for the 90s . 80s had some good names...obviously Holmes...and alot of guys who passed the belts around..spoon, page, berbick, thomas, tubbs, weaver, bonecrusher,
    i think the 80s had better names...but i think the 90s had better fighters with bowe, holyfield, moorer, mercer, morrision, ruddock, lewis, foreman

    the heavyweight division in the 90s was much deeper as far as fighter quality.

    and tyson was right in the middle of both decades...so hes a non factor

    the 90s does look better. The 1980s had jokes like Dokes and Tubbs and Pinklon Thomas.
