Same again. Knocks out all the bums in spectacular fashion and then loses when he comes up against good opposition.

I wouldn't call the 80s HWs anything special BUT they were certinly better than todays HWs. I just can't see guys like Peter, Valuev, Arreola, Chageav, 38 yrold Ruiz, 40 yr old Maskeav, 37yr old Briggs, Ibragimov, and 38 yr old Thompson cutting it in the 80s.

Look, I understand people are sentimental about the legends of yore, but sportsmen have improved. Let's appreciate old timers like Louis, Tyson, Robinson, Armstrong, Ali, Hagler and Duran, but let's not pretend that they could match today's champions.

It's simple evolution. Things get better over time, as Darwinism says.

Tyson would have demolished any of these heavyweights. No joke. People just don't understand the variation between Kid Dynamite -> Iron Mike -> Earrios.

You put Kid Dynamite in there and nobody present day gets out conscious let alone with a W. To those who think he just lost against the first real competition you've got your fights muddled up. Berbick was much tougher than Douglas. Douglas just got Tyson when he was out of shape, sick, abroad and even then after a long count. Mind when I say out of shape, meaning not fit to go 12 rounds bobbing and weaving. Douglas was 40-1 odds for a reason.

Do you have any idea how stupid that is? You are suggesting that human beings have evolved over one generation. So, evolved into what I ask you? The only thing they have over fighters in the past is proffessional dieticians and even so all but the three top men in the heavyweight division are fat plodding wheezy talentless doormen types.

Tyson at his best was better than anyone who's around nowadays and he was fighting at a time when the fighters were better than they are now. The 80's bunch weren't the best crop of fighters, certainly not as good as the 90's but the current heavyweight division is pathetic, possibly the weakest ever.

Can you imagine what a 20 year old Tyson would do to Wlad? It wouldn't be fair.

So you think he'd blow-out Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Sonny Liston and Muhammad Ali?

    I don't.

In fact, I think Foreman would kill him to death inside six rounds.

A prime Tyson would get killed, in he fought in this era. He always had problems with tall opponents, he can't deal with some of the giants that the HW division has now.

The 80's heavyweights were better than the 90's especially the group from 94-on.
