I say mora deserves a rematch! An argument could be made that since mora got the last legit knockdown... That he really won IMO.. If Jacobs scored the first knockdown Mora scored the second.. The Round ends... 9-9? 2 round a glazing punch over the head then a leg injury stops the fight. Who wins.
10 point must system If two fighters swap knockdowns, it has to still be a 10 point round unless there's a referee point deduction. Example of a round that wasn't 10 points with 0 knockdowns. Ward vs Rodriguez, Ref took 2 points from each fighter in the 4th round. Resulting in 8-7 for Ward 10-9 Jacobs is the right score
How when mora scored the last knockdown? Don't they cancel each other out? or goes to the one who got the last kd? How does Jacobs automatically get the point?
They cancel each other out and the winner of the round gets the 10, it becomes normal. That's how it works.
Well many did, you can score it 10-9 Mora if you want. Many scored it 10-9 Jacobs. Whatever you want.
It's funny how many people don't understand the 10 point system and how you need a point deduction (for say a low blow or other dirty tactic) for a 9-9. Not picking on the OP, as even guys like Jim Lampley and Max Kellerman, the latter of whom is a boxing nerd who's watched boxing for 30-odd years, get it wrong. ON THE AIR.
