Name me every boxing superstar since 1990 who has carried a PPV card as the A-side draw against a non-draw opponent along with what country they are from.

Excellent. I like to see him fight, but people are expecting other fighters who fought better competition to bow to him when it is the other way around. Look at Cotto and Canelo resume and hold it next to Golovkins. BIG DIFFERENCE.

Because I like a video or channel that is pro black does not mean I'm anti anything. I also subscribe to screen junkies and stuff they don't want you to know doesn't make me a conspiracy theorist or a movie critic..

So if I like a white supremacist video it doesn't mean that I am a redneck ******* who might hate black people, Jews or other minorities?

He already is a big star. Like how Lucian Bute used to be.

The answer is that out of 77 US PPV cards since 1990 there have been fighters from 6 countries to headline those cards as the definitive A-side. Those countries are... The US(43), Mexico (15), the Philippines (14), the UK (2), Puerto Rico (2) and the Ukraine (1).

Both the UK and Ukrainian fighters (Lennox and Vitali) we're Heavyweights, the weight class that makes up the OVERWHELMING majority of those 72 PPV fights not involving a fighter named Floyd, Oscar or Manny... Lennox did 320,000 and 420,000 buys in those fights and that was only after he had his star status catapulted by two mega fights with Evander. The only EE fighter to ever headline a US PPV, Vitali, did 120,000 buys - the second lowest number in history. Obviously every one of the PPV from the Philippines has come from one man we are all rather familiar with and he didn't even get his first PPV card until he had already fought 3 Mexican greats in JMM, MAB, and EM. Puerto Rican fighters have a huge fan base in the US but even Tito never headlined a PPV as the A-side. Tito needed another big name to get on PPV, would you say Tiro was not a star? Cotto has headlined 2 PPVs as the A-side, the first was after he had already fought a PPV star in Manny and the second was after he had fought the 2 biggest PPV stars is Floyd and Manny.

The reality is if you're not American or Mexican you had a very slim chance of headlining a US PPV as the A-side. Even less so if you are not a HW. There has been ONE man to do it with consistent success and his name is Manny Pacquiao and he is a transcendent global superstar. And even he couldn't have done it without going to war with 3 of the most beloved and greatest Mexican fighters of all time. If you want to even get on a US PPV and you are not an American or Mexican fighter you had better hope another PPV worthy name is willing to get in the ring with you or else you are grasping at straws.

Boom goes the dynamite, class is dismissed :deal

For the record, I'm not saying he is some massive star, I'm just saying that it's silly to ask why he isn't on PPV :deal

No you just may have an interest. Besides many white supremacist follow Black culture. In order to hate something and have an objective opinion you have to study and know what you are talking about. Racist study peoples culture just to talk smack about it. Makes you wonder, eh?

I love the fights you chose as your examples by the way

A Mayweather, Tyson, and RJJ fight, 3 of the 4 biggest American PPV stars since 1990. A Pacquiao fight, by far the biggest non American or Mexican PPV attraction in history and even he couldn't get on PPV against a non American or Mexican opponent until after he fought Oscar. Barrera/Hamed, far and away the two biggest names at the lower weights at the time, does not remotely fit the criteria of "a non-draw opponent". And a Lennox fight. The only solid example you chose, but still one that would not have been a PPV event without Lennox facing a PPV star in Evander as the B-side attraction twice :deal

:good Great but you did not ask if they were successful, you just asked how many and what country. I did not mention country because you seem to be knowledgeable about boxers and their origins so it was no need. What is the measure of success with PPV. Getting people to buy period is pretty good if you ask me, but even YOU give fighters Floyd Mayweather standards of a mil plus, and that is not realistic.

You have Andre Ward, who used to be considered top 2 P4P talking about fighting Golovkin.

You have Oscar De La Hoya, one of the best promoters and most famous boxing icons today talking about fighting Golovkin.

You have Floyd Mayweather Jr, THE best boxer and one of the most famous sport icons today, talking about fighting Golovkin.

When you have those three talking about Golovkin, I promise you... it means something. In fact, it means a lot.
