Exactly. Ward brought up Golovkins name no defense there.

Oscar rather sacrifice himself instead of his young bucks.

People ask Floyd about GGG not the other way around because according to the Mayweather's they never know anybody's name in boxing not named Floyd Mayweather.

Hopefully somebody bucks up and fights but it is looking bleek for Gennady. He may have to fight guys like Lara, Andrade, Lee, and Ward.

I'm not giving fighters standards of a mil plus. If you are not Mexican or American it is an EXTREMELY rare feat to get on PPV at all as the headliner against a non-draw opponent. Only 4 fighters have done it since 1990. One is a transcendent global superstar, Manny. The others couldn't make it to PPV as the A-side without fighting a superstar first. Lennox fought Evander twice as the B-side. Cotto fought Manny before his first and had fought Manny and Floyd before his second (and both of his were against pretty big names in Mayorga and Sergio). Vitali had fought Lennox and even so had the 2nd worst PPV selling fight in history. For GGG to get on PPV and do 300,000 buys against a non-draw opponent without first facing a big name would be an unprecedented feat in PPV history for a non Mexican or American fighter. :deal

Well, the reality is that America runs boxing as a financial force. Gennady appeals to many people and he seems to be shedding the good guy approach. K2 will just have to fold and let GGG fight for peanuts against one of these guys because it's all about money. If Cotto abandon's the belt after him and Canelo fight then GGG is still up the creek unless Haymon opens the gate
and allows one of his fighters the pleasure of testing GGG MANDIBLE INTEGRITY for a buck or 2.

No arguments here, I'm just saying that if GGG were to fight Heiland on PPV next and do 300,000 buys he would already be treading on new ground for a non Mexican or American fighter.
