    No you ain't. :patsch:nono

Herrera is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. He was robbed once, and that was against Benavidez. :bart

Easy way out for Floyd. Personally I prefer Bradley or Thurman.

Floyd is easily the best at 147 and 154. No one comes close.

So what's left for him to do?

Make more money? Nobody should pay to see him fight anyone, other than fighters that would be the betting favorite.

All the greats have done that at one point or another in their careers.

Don't mind Garcia but I think hss last couple of performances have been poor. Style wise I think he's been made for Mayweather. Plus what have we seen from Garcia at 147? Nothing. If Garcia beat a fringe solid welterweight and then thurman or Maidana then yeah maybe but until then not the fight for me.

This would only be Mayweather's third fight against an undefeated fighter and the first who's got good boxing ability as they are not a straight out brawler. I know Garcia has fell off some but this fight remains a good one for those points alone.

Why on earth would anyone want to see Floyd-Garcia?

Anyhow, if Floyd fights again next May... it will be vs Manny again. Just because, it will make the most money. Floyd will also probably win again.

Not sure how people havent noticed, but DSG doesnt have much of a fanbase left and beating Paulie , presuming he does, is not likely to change that. Why on earth would Floyd call Garcia?

Which fighters outside of Floyd/Manny from 140-147 have more of a fanbase in the US than Danny in your opinion?

I agree, who the f is Garcia? What is his 147 record?
loss to Peterson, win over Salka and a fight with Paulie.

How is this record warranting a Floyd fight? :huh

Crawford, Matty, Broner, Bradley off the top of my head. All have been in fights that have actually *sold* tickets recently and/or PPV that did OKish.

Garcia used to have more fans, but just listen to crowd reactions when his name is mentioned lately. He has not earned any goodwill with his post-Matty career. Fans do notice, especially the ones who shell out $$.

Sure, Floyd-Garcia would sell decent PPV... but just because of Floyd.

Manny-Floyd much bigger though, even at half the buys of the first. Floyd just takes a bit bigger chunk of purse, and rides off into sunset for another 9-figure payday or close.. instead of low-mid 8 figure is how I see it.

If Floyd was going to fight Garcia, it would have been this September.
