    Mercer didn't actually fight in 97, but looked fine against Lewis in 96 and also beat Witherspoon in that year. I think he might've had hepatitis at that time. I have to favor him considering Briggs generally looked pretty bad even in winning efforts against his better opponents.

    Douglas and Ruddock should be pretty clear favorites.
