90s Heavyweight match up: Riddick Bowe vs Shannon Briggs

This is basically a mismatch with the slight possibility of Shannon rocking Riddick with the occasional big shot here and there. I expect this will likely go down in similar fashion to Bow vs Gonzalez.

 

Yeah, Bowe-Gonzalez is exactly what popped into my mind as well.

Bowe would beat the ever living **** outta that juice head clown Briggs.

 

Ok, maybe i overestimated Briggs skill/power

i still feel Tyson beats Bowe, but thats another story for another day

 

I have always wondered what would be the outcome if Tyson fought Bowe instead of Ruddock in 1991, a somewhat green Bowe.

Also, if Tyson fought Bowe in 96 instead of Holy. Both past their best.

I'd favor Mike in both cases.

 

i feel Bowe would be the easier fight than Holyfield and Lewis, both of those guys were much smarter fighters.

Bowe would fight the kind of fight Tyson preferred.

Asides from Holyfield, Tyson disposed of all mutual opponents much better than Bowe did.

 

One or two scares aside, Bowe halts Briggs in 5 or 6, very similar to Lewis.
