You know what's really sad? Even ancient Holmes is better than anyone on Wilder's resume.

 

Mercer would win this by ghastly KO. Bad matchup imo for Wilder.

 

Wilder wouldn't make it out of the first round for sure...

He figured Morrison, Daminai, and Lewis were tough and he needed to
tire them out while absorbing punishment to knock them out late, I've
rewatched the Lewis fight, I still say Mercer won that one on points!!

He wouldn't play with Beyonce Wilder, he'd hit him in round one like he
did to Holmes but Wilder would go down on his face... Holmes just did
the Chicken Dance and tied up Mercer...

Stiverne is a modern day Mercer... same size, tough, loves gettin pounded on,
takes a great punch to the head (many punches), ain't scared of big lugs like
Wilder, plays Possum (let's his opponent get comfortable then attacks again),
is dangerous throughout the entire fight, you can't cruise through rounds, if
Wilder is not KO'd by the fifth round no one knows what Wilder can do past
4 rounds... Will he start holding, gasping for air, use the jab to try to keep
Stiverne off him cuz if Wilders right hand fails him, its gonna be sore from
pounding on Stivernes fat melon of a head by round 5!!!! :yep
