Holyfield had too much and too many smarts for any version of Earnie.

Holy way to skilled for Shaver's ,and he takes his biggest bombs. I'll say Holy field stop's him in around the 11 th .

I suppose that if they had a series of fights Shavers might land his money punch flush and KTFO Holyfield. I wouldnt bet on it though.

I don't even think Earnie's money punch does the trick. He'd knock him down & Holyfield would weather the storm like other guys did. The guy not weathering a storm and getting stopped when he gets hurt is Shavers.

Holyfield beats Shavers pillar to post. Stopping him via TKO by mid rounds. A 1987-88 cruiser Holyfield also stops him or wins a wide UD

Im not so sure. Earnie hit HARD and sometimes Holy liked to slug a little too much.
    50/50 fight for me

Holyfield wasway too brawl happy on his way up and in his first reign as champ, trying too hard to prove himself and having unnecessary trouble vs Alex Stewart, Bert cooper, Bowe etc. So Shavers does have a chance of landing a Titanic shot.
I doubt he'll be able to finish Holyfield however and Evander would come back to beat the living crap out of him

Could be similar to Holyfield vs Cooper. If we are talking about Shaver on his best night then Shaver awesome power could prevail. But as usual The Real Deal recuperative powers come into a play and Evander storms back to stop a tiring Shavers in 7 rds.

Shavers by KO without conviction though. That is because Holy has a tendancy to brawl.

Maybe if he fought the 2008 version of Holyfield.

Holyfield is just better at ALL the attributes that makes a good/great fighter than Shavers other than sheer punching power. Shavers wouldn't make it pass 8rds with Holyfield of 92.
